    This luxury homestay is located in a lush green coffee plantation in Melena Huluvathi village, Chikmagalur. Started in the year 1812 by British Messrs and it was known as Bare Khan. Then the land was cleared of jungle and coffee was cultivated. We produced some of the finest gourmet Robusta Coffee, Pepper and Areca nut. This beautiful coffee plantation was passed on to us by our ancestors and filled with history.

    This premium homestay is located strategically; its close proximity to Bhadra wild life sanctuary Mulayanagiri (highest peak in Karnataka), Bababudangiri, Kemmanagundi, Hebbefalls, GiriKhan Falls, and other beautiful places with in 15Kms makes it a unique place to stay in Chikmagalur.

    Cancellation done 10 days in advance will entitle a maximum refund of 50%. There will be absolutely no refund under any conditions if room is canceled 10 days prior to stay period. Postponement will be at the sole discretion of the management.
    Children below 6 years are free. Children between 6 to 12 years half the price. The above mentioned rates include all three meals with taxes. Meals are fixed menu basis. Additional meals or starters will be at an extra cost. Accompanying driver/maid etc. will cost extra.

    WHAT SHOULD I CARRY?
    Warm clothing’s in winter, shorts and t-shirts in summer/ walking shoes/ swimwear (if you intend to use swimming pool) /rain gear (during rainy season) and last but not the least camera.
    IS THERE ANY SPECIFIC TIMING FOR GUESTS?
    No: however we would like to keep it as homely as possible without causing any inconvenience to our other guests.
    IS CHIKKAMAGALURU A HILL STATION ?
    Chikkamagaluru is a district in Karnataka state. All the tallest peaks in Karnataka are in Chikkamagaluru. The highest elevation in Chikkamagaluru is 6357fts. Temperature in Chikkamagaluru averages 12C to with maximum around 30C in the month of April-May. Chikkamagaluru District is heavily forested which makes the stay here in any season very pleasant.
    HOW LONG SHOULD BE OUR TRIP TO CHIKKAMAGALURU?
    The most common duration of Chikkamagaluru trip is 2-3 days (this is because large proportion of the tourists to chikkamagaluru are from Bangalore who come there for weekends). A good travel plan would be 4 days to cover Chikkamagaluru.
